Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Sept. 9--10--11 David R. Buffington The Grey Sisters Singing and dancing, dressed well, 3 changes, singing good not much dancing, 12 minutes in one, just went fair, ordinary. Ollie Young and April Man and woman, neatly dressed, open with juggling finish with blowing Soap Bubbles, novelty, pretty effects, some of the bubbles go away to top of Auditorium before they burst, bubbles are fil led with cigarette smaoke and give the effect of bursting bomb. 12 min full stage, Went very good. Ruth and Willie Wayne Man and woman, singing and dancing, two songs went very good, rest of act ordinary, 10 minutes in one, just fair. Gordon Eldred & Co. 3 women and one man, comedy sketch, "Won By A Leg" scream from start to finish, funny sketch cleverly played, opens in one special drop then C.D.F. 20 minutes Went Big. This act did not appear at the Monday matinee. They jumped from Syracuse and their baggage did not arrive in time. Crippled the show badly. Charles Ledegar German comedian, Bounding Rope artist, very funny line of talk, good work on the bounding rope, 10 minutes full stage, good act, Went big. Josephine Saxton and Her Dixie Kids Singing and dancing, Josephine and five colored people 2 boys and 3 girls, lively act, singing and dancing fair, open in one close full stage, just went fair. Sutton, McIntyre and Sutton 2 men and a woman, comedy acrobatic novelty special scenery and effects, called The Pumpkin Girl, singing and danc ing finish, all three do excellent work, comedy is good, 10 minutes full stage. Went big. Gordon Eldred and Co. All week, comedy sketch Won By A Leg, going very big each performance.
