B. F. Keith's Theatre Cincinnati, Ohio Week of Sept. 15, 1912. La Toy Bros.: Comedy acrobats. 10 minutes, opening full stage and closing 4 min. in one. A great act, with some new tricks. Much too strong for either an opening or closing act, but there was no other place to put it on this good bill. Went big. Open next week. Address this theatre. Maurice Freemen & Co.: Sketch, "Tony and the Stork". 19 min, full stage. Same act presented here last season; good laughing finish. Went good. Open next week. Address Burnet House, Cincinnati. Harry B. Lester: Character songs, imitations and stories. 19 min-utes in one. Went good; finished strong. Columbus. Maxim's Models: Reproductions of famous painting, nine in all, each preceded by picture sheet announcement. 12 min. full stage, own set. Same act as in previous seasons. Went good. Indianapolis. Devine & Williams: Man and woman; comedy skit entitled "The Female Drummer". 17 min. in one. - Clever songs and repartes. Went big. Philadelphia. Jos. Hart's "An Opening Night": Three scenes; 42 min., own set. first and third scenes full stage, second scene in one. A big act which, while carrying no particular plot or story with it, is full of action,- everybody in the big company being exceedingly clever perform-ers,- and a novel and enjoyable act throughout, holding the aud-ience closely from beginning to end. Went big. Indianapolis. Frozini: Accordion. 12 min. in one. Classical and popular selections - A tremendous hit. Atlanta Zeno, Jordon & Zeno: Aerial act. One woman and two men, one comedy. Sev-eral thrilling stunts. Went big. Louisville. B.F. Keithoscope: Pathe's weekly. 12 minutes. Remarks: Best show of the season. One of the biggest and best ever seen in this house. Note: An inspection of all traveling scenery is now made by the Cincinnati Fire Department in this house every Sunday morning. The inspection is done with the blow torch, and in last week's show the special scenery of two different acts was rejected and we were compelled to use house scenery for these acts. Yesterday all the special scenery in this week's show passed inspection. We will greatly appreciate it if managers will advise the various acts coming to Cincinnati that any scenery carried by them must be submitted to this rigid inspection immediately on arrival at this theatre.
