B.F. Keith's Theatre - Boston - Week Sept. 16, '12. (R.G. Larsen.) Alpha Troupe. 9 minutes F.S. Black cyclorama. One of the best hoop juggling acts that we play. Flashily dressed and ut on in a thoroughly showmanlike manner. Made a great opener. Will Setron. 12 minutes in one. Garden. Double-voiced vocalist. This man sings songs dealing with male and female characters, changing his voice during the course of each song. Got by all right in this spot, but would not care to play him further down on a bill. Robbie Gordone. 7 minutes F.S. Special draperies. Doing four-teen poses in seven minutes. Many of the pictures were applauded, and she received a strong hand at the finish. Harry Puck and Labelle Lewis. 19 inutes in two. Place. Open and close in one. Introducing piano playing, dancing, and some original songs that went over in very good shape at both shows. Romany Opera Company. 18 minutes f.s. special set. This well known singing act was very well received at both performances to-day. The solos got a good hand, and they finished strong. Mullen and Coogan. In "Odd Nonsense." 23 minutes in one. Street. This act should not be confused with the Mullen of the old Mullen and Corelli act. Two men, working in evening dress, in songs and talk. This is one crackerjack act. They open with a "souse" song, introduce some clever dancing, and a very funny line of talk, as well as several original songs. Had the audience laughing every minute they were on the stage, and closed big at both performances. "Honor Among Thieves." 23 minutes f.s. Special divided set. This wellknown comedy of Joseph Hart's, went quit as well here as it has in other places. Got a lot of laughs, held the interest every minute, and closed well. Gus Van and Joe Schenck. 15 minutes in one. Olio. Two boys singing their own songs. Held this hard spot in great shape, getting a big hand after every number, and closing strong. Great Junghann Family. 10 minutes f.s. Cut Garden. A great troupe of six wire walkers doing an excellent routine of tricks, many of them of an unusual character. Quite a lot of good comedy is introduced by a man dressed as a propertyman, and the act could easily go in the middle of a bill. Made a fine closing feature to one of the most pleasing and satisfactory shows of the season. Week Sept. 16, 1912, Louis Grarat
