B.F. Keith's Union Square Theatre. E. F. Rogers, Manager. The Grazers: Man and woman in musical and terpsichorean act. Well known. Splendid dancing novelty and a great opener. 9 minutes in one. Cooper and Robinson: They give the same material as before that amused and secured a big lot of applause. Fourteen minutes in one. Arthur McWatters and Grace Tyson: First time here of this well known couple and the house treated them as strangers. They gave us an excellent program, fully as strong as when last seen here. The house responded accordingly giving them big recognition for everything they attempted. Chas. F. Semon "The Narrow Feller". Well known. An excellent entertainer. Plenty of laughs throughout. As usual, this man proved himself a very capable entertainer, giving his regular musical set, full of good material, and secured many laughs. One of the hits of the show. Seventeen minutes in one. Hermine Shone and Company: Presenting the sketch called "The Little Goddess". Well known. Very interesting farcical fantasy, quite novel in construction and secured the laughs. Twenty-one minutes full stage. Gordon and Marx: German comedians. The material of this act seems like an infringement on Raymond and Severly. They manage to amuse the audience and finish strong. Fourteen minutes in one. "The Diamond Necklace": Is a new sketch presented by Mr. Daniel Frohman. The play deals with a skillful lady thief who attempts to steal a diamond necklace by having the Jeweller's messenger bring it to the office of a doctor whom she has already told that the messenger is suffering with a hallucination about a necklace. A detective captures the lady just as she is abut to succeed in her scheme. Mr. Frohman ruins the play by a poor company. The woman, Helen Langford, is impossible. Mr. Peter Bassett as Detective Marston is the light. The sketch would probably get by if a new cast was secured. Full stage twenty-two minutes. Conlin, Steele and Carr: Two young men and a young lady in a musical skit called, "Just From College". Apleasing little act for an earlier place. Did fairly well considering the time. Eighteen minutes in one. Odiva: Too well known for any comment. Splendid swimming and diving exhibition that was accorded tremendous applause. The swimming contest for amateurs will create no end of curiosity. Full stage, twenty-one minutes.
