REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK SEPT.16,1912–1912W.W.ROSSER. DeVOIE TRIO: Three men. A very fine athletic and flying ring number. The work is exceptionally clean in execution. Act held closest attention, making a fine opener. Strong finish. Special in 4–8 minutes. (Buffalo) ELIDA MORRIS: Comedienne. Great improvement over her last time here. Sang several songs and every one of them with success. Went well throughout and finished strong. Olio in 1,12 mn. (Atlanta) LIDA McMILLAN & CO: In "The Late Mr. Allen."Three women, one man. A very good comedy skit, with a moral tab as a good lesson. The act found immediate favor, gaining undivided at–tention. Abundant laughs and a very good finish. Thoroughly satisfactory.C.D.F. in 3, 25 minutes. (Louisville) FRANCIS YATES: An act of the Eltinge order, presenting the Society Belle, the Ingenue, xxx the Kiddie and the Surprise. Made a favorable impression, winning applause after each number. The act is very adequately staged. Fairly good finish. Two Specials in 1, Special in 3,–15 minutes. (Cleveland) WINDSOR TRIO: Three Young men in vocal, comedy and piano offering. Biggest kind of a hit. Cleaned up thoroughly. Bows galore at the finish. Street in 1, Palace in 2, olio in 1,16 min. (Cleveland) MINNI AMATO: In "The Apple of Paris". Very find pantomime playlet. The story held attention throughout. Capitally portrayed. Should create comment. Finished moderately strong. Two Specials inx 3, Special in 1,19 minutes. (Cleveland) BOB MATHEWS & AL SHAYNE In "A Chinatown Fantasy". Singing and talking character number. A most excellent act. Presented in a way to be the hit of the show. Good comedy and songs sustained interest throughout. Very strong finish.Special in 1, Olio in 1,19 min. (Cincinnati) FOUR McNALLYS: Three men, one woman in an exceptionally meritorious wire and acrobatic act. Good work throughout and most of it new. Strong finish. Special in 1,Dark Fancy in 3,11 min.
