26 CHASE'S WASHINGTON, D.C. Week Oct. 7th, 1912. CLAUDE M. ROODE A slack wire performer doing the regulation line of work. Makes a nice opener. F.S. James Eleanor McCORMACK and IRVING Young man and woman, nicely dressed, with some clever songs well sung. This set could go further down on the bill if necessary. In one. MAXIS BURLESQUE CIRCUS This is one of the funniest animals sets we have ever played and made quite a hit, having the audience laughing every minute. The work of the animals is of secondary importance; it is the burlesque wrestling match, bull fight, etc. that makes the set what it is. F.S. Joe Gus SCHNECK AND VAN This two man team is one of the best we have ever played. The audience could not get enough of them and they gave all the numbers they knew. The dialest [dialect] singing of one of the men is extraordinarily good, while the piano playing and tenor work of the other is worthy of especial commendation. In one. INTERMISSION BERT LEVY Mr. Levy is doing some clever drawing this season and was enjoyed by all the same as always. F.S. EDITH HELENA Miss Helena's voice is as sweet as ever and just as strong. She is a great favorite here in Washington and went very well indeed. In one. MC INTYRE AND HEATH Monday and Tuesday of this week, they are giving us "Waiting at the Church"; Wednesday and Thursday, "The Man from Montana"; Friday and Saturday, "The Georgia Minstrels". It is needless to say that "Waiting at the Church" was well-received. Anything these two old artists would do would get a big reception. F.S. THE ANIMATED WEEKLY Recent events of International Importance. Good film. H. Winnifred DeWitt, Mgr.
