B.F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. [OHIO] Week of Oct. 20th, 1912 FERRELL BROS: Bicycle act. 10 min. F. S. One comedy, one straight - lots of good, new comedy - Great opened - Went good. CLEVELAND WINDSOR TRIO: 3 young men, piano and singing. Open 3 min. in One, then 10 min. in 2, and close 2 min. in One - 15 min. in all. Great act, went big; too strong for second place. PHILADELPHIA. HUGH J. EMMETT: ----- Assisted by Mrs. Emmett: Ventriloquist. 18 min. F. S. Splendid set - very classy. Went good. OPEN NEXT WEEK - WASHINGTON, D. C. LEONA THURBER & HARRY MADISON: Comedy sketch. 16 min. in One. Same material in all respects as when here two seasons ago. Miss Thurber is weak, but Madison's comedy is good. Went good. LOUISVILLE. SUNIKC: Japanese prima donna. 8 min. F. S., own set. Sings three songs in Japanese, then in English, concluding with "Alexander's Ragtime Band," which saves the act. Went fair. TOLEDO. PATHE'S WEEKLY: 9 min. MASTER GABRIEL & CO.: In a comedy sketch entitled, "Little Kick." 24 min. F. S. A dandy little act, in which the comedy work of Master Gabriel makes a decided hit. We were afraid of this act, as it followed "Little Lord Robert" of last week's show, but Master Gabriel's act and its reception more than met expectation. PITTSBURG. HOEY & LEE: Hebrew comedians and parodists. 17 min. in Ons [One]. Their parodies are good, and made a big hit. NORFOLK, VA. THE GREAT JUNGMAN FAMILY: 9 min. F. S. - six of them. Wire act, good in itself, and made much better by some very rich, new comedy which took the house by storm. INDIANAPOLIS. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 7 min. NOTE: The order of the bill was re-arranged, as follows: 1 - Ferrell Bros. 2 - Thurber & Madison 3 - Sumiko 4 - Windsor Trio 5 - Hugh J. Emmett & Co. 6 - Slides and part of Pathe's weekly. 7 - Master Gabriel & Co. 8 - Hoey & Lee 9 - Jungman Family 10 - Balance of Pathe's Weekly. As a whole, the show is a good one. The firemen Sunday morning rejected the special set of Hugh J. Emmett, and we are using our own set without apparent detriment to their act. The gauze on Sumiko's special set was also rejected, and this was fireproofed. The Hugh J. Emmett set was not fireproofed because of the liability of damaging it. C. L. Doran.
