111 CHASE'S WASHINGTON, D.C. Week Dec. 2nd., 1912. MERLIN. A young man with a very pleasing personality who does some very mystifying work with a pack of cards. Could play #2 on this bill. In one. THE ALPINE TROUPE Double wire act. Three girls, two men. A very pleasing, attractive and well-costumed act. They do their difficult feats in a rapid manner and received much applause. F.S. JULIET Humorous character studies from life. Miss Juliet is a very clever comedienne and mimic and her work was greatly appreciated by our audience. In one. MR. AND MRS. GARDNER CRANE AND CO. Comedy sketch, "The Other One". This new act is very good. The question of mistaken identity plays a large part in it and all of the comedy possible is gotten out of the laughable situations. F.S. INTERMISSION ANDREW J. KELLY Irish stories. Mr. Kelly has a delightful brogue and he has the splendid knack of telling a story so as to get the most humor out of it. Went very well in this position. In one. Jesse L. Lasky's "THE TRAINED NURSES" In our opinion, this is the best act Mr. Lasky has ever given us. Mr. Bergman and Miss Clark are at their best in this production and the supporting company and chorus are fine. Beautifully dressed and well staged. The songs are catchy and the situations pleasing. Altogether, a decided hit. F.S. THE ANIMATED WEEKLY Recent Events of International Interest. Good film.
