125 C. E. BARNS. PHILADELPHIA SHOW. DEC. 16, 1912. LATOY BROS. 10 min. F. S. These two boys work very fast with their ground-tumbling, with the use of table and chairs. Both of them work straight, and one introduces a little dancing which is also very good. Made a fine opener but could hold a very much better spot on any bill with credit. MUSICAL JOHNSTONS. 15 min. in one. Two men well uniformed and a very pretty girl, all of them playing in fine style and winning applause after each number. Compelled to give an encore. Held this spot in great shape. ROSALIND COGHLAN & CO. "The Obstinate Miss Granger." 21 min. F.S. This is a ripping good sketch, admirably played by Miss Coghlan and her support. Held the interest of the audience throughout and could hold a better spot on any bill. Miss Coghlan is a mighty pretty young woman with stunning costume and gets all there is out of the title role. Made a fine close. CABARET TRIO. 18 min. in one. A typical Rathskeller act. All three boys have good voices, singing the regulation ragtime songs. The added interest in their act is on account of the blind pianist who is not only a good vocalist but a very fine performer and, of course, gets the audience with him from the first. Held this spot in great shape. Closed immensely after the song and eccentric dance. Compelled to make a little speech. DON FULANO. 16 min. F.S. Second time that we have played Don. Went quite as strong if not stronger than previously, although he did nothing new in the trick line. Good applause after each one of his stunts. Made a fine finish. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS. 14 min. Nothing need be said concerning this act save to say it went just as strong as it has done on previous occasions. Good applause for each dancing feature and closed big. SAM CHIP & MARY MARBLE. "In the Land of Dykes." 26 min. F.S. A mighty pretty sketch well written and beautifully presented. Advance hand on rise of the curtain. Compares very favorably with "In Old Edam." That everybody liked it was shown by the interest and applause particularly after the musical numbers. Closed very strong. LAMBERT & BALL. 21 min. in one. An expert pianist and composer and a mighty pretty woman who appears in three changes of beautiful costume and sings exceedingly well. Held this hard spot in good shape, getting big applause for each number and was compelled to give us an encore which she sang in a deep contralto. JUNGMANN FAMILY. 10 min. F.S. This is a corking closing act. It is not only wonderfully expert on the high wire and in the ground tumbling as well as the work with the stilts, but is full of hilarious comedy all the way through. KINETOGRAPH. One of the best Pathe series we have had. GENERAL REMARKS: This was billed as "An Old Favorite Bill" and worked out into mighty pleasing entertainment. It is as clean as a whistle and contains much to amuse the children who are beginning to anticipate the holiday season.
