236 REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK FEB. 24, 1913-W.W. PROSSER. MR & MRS DARROW: Smoke pictures and Shadowgraphists. Made a very good opener, winning applause at various points and finished moderately strong. Light Fancy in 3, 12 min. (Chicago) CAMPBELL & POLLOCK: Two men. The old act of Smith and Campbell. Quite good but which did not fare very well. Mild applause, occasional laughs and no finish worth mentioning. Street in 1, 14 min (Chicago) KELLY & POLLOCK: Man and woman. Songs, dance and talk, in straight and character work. Some pretty fair spots, but all in all did not make much of an impression. No finish worth talking about. Special in 2, olio in 1. 21 min. (Open) INTERNATIONAL POLO TEAMS: Four men in wellknown athletic number which seemed to please fairly well. Held interest moderately well and finished pretty strong. Landscape in 5, 11 min. (Cleveland) REA FENTON & LADS: Woman and two boys. Songs and dances. A goodlooking girl with passable ability. Boys are good dancers. Up to this point the act was the hit, going quite well and finishing strong. Olio in 1, 16 min. (Steubenville & Wheeling) MILTON POLLOCK & CO: Three men and one woman in a George Ade sketch, "Speaking to Father". A capital comedy playlet, very capably presented. Went big throughout and finished strong. Dark Fancy in 3 20 minutes. (Springfield, Mass) MARSHALL P. WILDER: Opens with moving picture, then follows with his monologue A good reception at his appearance, plenty of laughs and a good strong finish. Sheet and special in 1, 30 Min. (Open) CARON & HERBERT: Wellknown acrobats, straight and comedy. Proved equal to closing spot, holding attention throughout and finishing strong. Special in 4, 12 min. Pathe Weekly, O.K.
