238 THE KINETOPHONE Talking Movies, showing "The Descriptive lecture" retained the second week and the "Quarrel Scene from Julius Caesar", both excellent films. While the audience does not give the subjects any great amount of applause, presume they are appreciated. Business is big, probably due to the exceptional strong bill surrounding the pictures W.H.MURPHY-BLANCHE NICHOLS AND COMPANY "The School of Acting" One big laugh from start to, finish. Twenty-six minutes, full stage. DOLLY CONNOLY AND PERCY WENRICH From reports, I was afraid this act would fall, in fact Wenrich was somewhat nervous in this position, but they simply cleaned up, walking away with a big lot of applause. Nineteen minutes in one. MAXIM'S MODELS In a series of living reproductions of paintings, that held the house until the finish. A splendid act and one that was thoroughly enjoyed. Ten minutes. full stage. Criticism of B.F.Keith's Union Square Theatre Week of February 17,1013.
