REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK JAN. 15---W.W. PROSSER. PATHE WEEKLY: MOTION PICTURES, O.K. HENRY CLIVE & MAI STURGIS WALKER: Well known talking magician who, with the assistance of his good-looking partner, presented his usual line of burlesque magic. Notwithstanding the difficulty of his position, he proved very acceptable and made a distinctly favorable impression. Palace drop in two, 11 minutes. (Hamilton, Canada) JOSEPHINE DAVIS: Vocalist who make a good appearance and who sings pretty well, though nothing out of the ordinary. Got along fairly well, and finished moderately strong. Olio in one, 18 minutes. (Cleveland) CLAUDE & FANNIE USHER: In "Fagan's Decision". Were accorded a reception on entrance, and went very well throughout, finishing moderately strong. Library in three, 27 minutes. (Cleveland) MAYME REMINGTON & PICKS: Started a little slow, but gained some as they went along and finally rounded out a good-sized hit. Conservatory in one, 28 minutes. (Hamilton, Canada) CHARLOTTE PARRY & CO: Presenting new act, "Into the Light", an unusual sort of Protean offering which held attention very well, giving Miss Parry a chance to manifest her ability, winning genuine success. An uncanny sort of vehicle, but very well done. Good finish. Kitchen and special in three, 30 minutes. (Norfolk, Va.) STUART BARNES: This excellent singing comedian and monologist made a thoroughly good impression, had no trouble in establishing himself as the hit of the bill. Finished well. Olio in ine, 24 minutes. (Dayton, O.) BRADNA & DERRICK: Man and woman in an exceptionally clever equestrian offering. A-1 throughout. Liberal applause and a good strong finish. Terrace in five. 9 minutes. NOTE: Rawson and June, Australian boomerang throwers, were to have arrived at 2 o'clock. They were delayed in Pittsburgh, and, as a result, arrived at the theatre after 8 o'clock in the evening. Their arrival was too late to put them on to open the night performance, so the bill had to be arranged for the evening show as follows: Motion Picture Henry Clive, Claude & Fannie Usher Josephine Davis, Rawson & June Mayme Remington & Picks Charlotte Parry Stuart Barnes Bradna & Derrick. Beginning Tues. matinee, the show will run as follows: Rawson & June Henry Clive Josephine Davis Claud & Fannie Usher Mayme Remington & Picks Charlotte Parry Stuart Barnes Bradna & Derrick Motion Pictures. RAWSON & JUNE: Man and woman in novelty spear-throwing, bow and arrow and boomerang work. This is a very good attraction and made a very favorable impression. Good, scattered applause and a strong finish. Wood in five, 10 minutes. (Hamilton, Canada)
