Report on PROVIDENCE, SHOW, Week of April 1, 1912. CHAS. LOVENBERG, Manager. This is our WOMEN'S BILL and the large opening house attested the popularity of the idea. The show played exceedingly well and for Holy Week business should be remarkably good. PLOETZ-LARRELLA TROUPE Three young women in a contortion act with a little acrobatic work. They made a very good opener. 10 Min. F. S. The CHURCH SISTERS Two young girls, who look very youthful, who do some fair dancing. Manage to hold this spot satisfactorily. 10 Min. in One. LA DIVA VENUS and 5 Diving Girl, 6 Diving Girls in all. The Six girls make quite a flash and the act got over in good style. 8 Min. F. S. HILDA HAWTHORNE Lady ventriloquist. Miss Hawthorne has improved materially since her last appearance here and today scored quite a hit. 14 Min. in One. Catherine HAYES & Sabel JOHNSON In their well-known comedy skit which raised plenty of laughter and they closed to good applause. 23 Min Open F. S. Close in One. THE FADETTES This well-known musical organization got a strong advance hand on their appearance, proving their welcome and the audience were loth to let them go at the conclusion of the act. A big hit. 27 Min. F. S. KATE WATSON Eccentric comedienne; who clinched the strong impression she made on her previous appearance this season. Another big hit. 13 Min. in One. The KAUFMAN TROUPE 6 girl bicycle riders. They are all good. Two or three are decidedly clever and one of them is a wonder. They in turn scored a big hit. 10 Min. F.S. JOE JACKSON Pantomimic comedian. Following all these women Jackson came out and from the moment he appeared on the stage he had them. I am quite well satisfied with having played him on the Women's Bill. He is the one man act that was needed. To say that he made them laugh would be to put it most mildly. I never heard such laughter since I have been in the theatre. He will be the talk of the town in twenty-four hours. 12 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
