BOSTON SHOW - WEEK APRIL 8 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) FOUR ONETTI SISTERS. 9 minutes f.s. Palace. A mighty pretty act that opened the All-Women Show in good shape. MELODY LANE GIRLS. 12 minutes in one. Garden. A very good singing act that carried things along in great shape. Rather too good for an early spot. ANNIE KENT. 15 minutes in one. Special drop. Miss Kent as a single has a very good line of material. Made thoroughly good here, finishing with her old character stunt, the tough girl. HAYES and JOHNSTON. 27 minutes f.s. C.D.F. close in one. Picture sheet. In a revised edition of "A Dream of Baby Days," and seemed to go as well as ever. KAUFMANN TROUPE. 10 minutes f.s. Garden. This lively company of bicycle riders went tremendous in this place on the bill. WILLA HOLT WAKEFIELD. 14 minutes in one. Olio. Miss Wakefield has evidently gone back as far as Boston is concerned, or else when confined to songs not tinged with indigo, hasn't much left. I depended upon her to go next to closing on this All-Women Bill, but this afternoon she was unable to do more than nine minutes. This evening in an earlier spot, she went very much better. But it cannot be said she is the same hit as of old. STEWART and ALEXANDRIA. 15 minutes f.s. C.D.F. "Broadway Love." A clever sketch, well-acted, and went big. HILDA HAWTHORNE. 16 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Rather a hard spot for a single woman, but she held it to-night in great shape. Although there is no doubt that the audience waited in for the Fadettes. THE FADETTES. 26 minutes f.s. Special set. Owing to the difficulty of making a set and the failure of Miss Wakefield to hold down the next-to-closing position, we were obliged to play the Fadettes in this place, and they held it in great shape. PATHE WEEKLY. More people are waiting in to see it every week. NO CUTS.
