VI CRITICISM OF B. F. KEITH'S UNION SQUARE THEATRE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 3RD, 1913. CHARLES AND ANNA GLOCKER "Water Jugglers". Very interesting and novel, scoring some few laughs. Good opening act. Nine minutes. FRANK GORDON AND ROSE KINLEY Presenting a skit, called, "In Toyland" which consists of uninteresting chatter, and acrobatic dances. The woman makes a pleasing appearance and is a fairly good dancer, although a poor talker, while the man excels as a dancer. They just about get by in this position. Twelve minutes in one, own drop. INEZ MACAULEY and COMPANY Presenting "The Girl From Childs," a pleasing comedy that scored many laughs, although it did not go as well on its original presentation, due to an inferior cast and the man not being equal of Hal Davis. It pleased, however, and received several curtains. Nineteen minutes, full stage. JAMES CULLEN I don't think I ever saw this man go better. he has a mass of new material and got over in good shape. Twenty minutes in one. ROMAIN AND ORR "The Cockney and The Con". A singing sketch, with patter and songs and carrying a story. Open in full stage, showing the interior of the booking office. Both go there to get work. Being strangers, then arrange a partnership. A moving picture is exhibited, which shows them making a change to full dress and on the finish of the pictures, at the rise of the curtain, both are standing in one and give their stunt, which is supposed to be for a benefit performance. They make a good appearance and have good voices. A very acceptable offering for an early place in the smaller houses. Twenty-four minutes.
