Lee and Cranston. Man and woman. Work in one, 15 minutes. Use pretty special drop. Irish singing, dancing, and violin playing. The girl is a good violiniste. This act is well received, and does for an encore a bit of "The Wild Irish Rose" which is very good. Well liked. William Bence and Co. Man, woman, and boy. A novelty sketch, "The Chinaman's Dream" Mr Bence is very clever, and plays the Chinaman to perfection. His support is very good, and the piece abounds in humor. Mr Bence, as the Chinaman goes to sleep, under the effect of opium, and dreams out the story. The scene is the interior of a Chinese Laundry, in full stage/ Occupies about 18 minutes, and receives innumerable laughs, and a great deal of applause during the act, and a good hand at the finish. The audience seemed to enjoy the act thoroughly. A very clever offering.
