SHOW REPORT FROM B. G. KEITH'S - BOSTON. Week of December 29th 1913 (Robert G. Larsen) SPRAGUE and MCNEECE. 7 minutes f. s. Special cyclorama. A very pretty roller skating act that made an excellent opener. HARRY B. LESTER. 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Went over in very good shape, although he would have gone very much better if placed further down on the bill. CHADWICK TRIO. 19 minutes f. s. Special set. Playing "Wiggin's Training Camp, a lively comedy rural sketch with songs and dances that woke things up in great shape. LEWIS and DODY. 19 minutes in one. Street. These two boys have put in practically all new material since we last played them. I regret to say that it is by no means as good as the old. To-night we had put in the "Look at dat hat" number, and they went over much better than they did this afternoon show. Closed well with the French ragtime song. W. UESSEM'S THIRD GENERATION. 24 minutes f. s. Palace. Without question the most spectacular and sensational balancing and equibliristic act we have ever played, with six people. Each of the feats received a strong hand, and the close was very big. CHARLEY CASE. 18 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Case is a great favorite in Boston. Same laughing hit that he always is in this house. Closed strong. ELEANOR GORDON and CO. 30 minutes f. s. C. D. F. Miss Gordon is a big stock favorite in Boston. She is playing a condensed version of the three-act comedy, "Sham," for this week only and therefore a detailed report of the act is unnecessary. It got quite a number of laughs, held the interest, and closed to a good hand. JAMES DIAMOND and SIBYL BRENNAN. 15 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. These people are doing about the same act that Diamond formerly gave us with Clara Nelson. Miss Brennan makes a stunning appearance, and is a splendid foil for Diamonds clowning. The applause hit of the show. Closed to a tremendous hand. GREAT ALPINE TROUPE. 7 minutes f. s. Garden. Well-known double wire act, flashily dressed, which made a very good closer. CUTS: Chadwick Trio - lifting dresses to show underclothing and line "Oh, what I see" while trainer is being rubbed down.
