REPORT FROM B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - MASSACHUSETTS. Week of February 2nd 1914. (Robert G. Larsen.) NIP and TUCK. 8 minutes in one. Garden Drop. Knockabout acrobats. One man works straight, the other in comedy makeup. Made an acceptable opener. MARIAN and VICTORIA MURRAY. 18 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Singing act with grand piano. Not the dash and ginger of the old Murray Sisters. Piano does not help it. BURNS and FULTON. 12 minutes f.s. Special plush cyclorama. One rattling good dancing act with a little singing. Finished strong with the whirlwind waltz. HILDA MASON and GEORGE MURRAY. 17 minutes in one. Garden Drop. A new comedy singing and talking act something after the style of Muller and Stanley. A hit. EDWIN STEVENS aided by TINA MARSHALL. 20 minutes f.s. C. D. F. Very short close in one. "The troubles of R. and J." The same act Mr. Stevens gave us on his last visit. Going as well as ever. PAUL SELDOM'S VENUS. 7 minutes f. s. Dark tapestry. Seldoms is offering an entirely series of groupings this trip. Act is worked a little faster, which is a distinct improvement. Went over big. LEONA STEPHENS. 15 minutes in one. Special plush drop and picture sheet. Character songs and dances. The same act she gave us last summer. Went over big to-night in this position. SERGEANT BAGBY. 23 minutes f. s. Special set. A very good comedy sketch on the story in "The Saturday Evening Post." Well played and beautifully staged. Has a distinct element of novelty in the story and stage setting. Got a great many laughs at both performances and closed strong. A thoroughly satisfactory headline feature. BOWMAN BROTHERS. 18 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Practically the same act they gave us before, with the exception of some new songs. Moved down next to closing to-night and they held this spot in great shape. Closed big. THREE ALEX. 8 minutes f.s. Palace. Iron jaw work. Three men dressed in white with white and nickel apparatus, doing a number of excellent stunts. Made a splendid closing feature.
