Jennings and Wilson Two men. 12 minutes in one. "Burnt Cork Comedians"-- their billing Talking and parodies. Went fair at matinee, good at night. Fuller Rose and Co. Two men, two women, and one boy. A sketch, with special scenery in the full stage. Entitled "Winning a King," which runs 13 minutes. Went fair at matinee and also at night. Ray Conlin. One man. Ventriloquist, using one dummy. He does 12 minutes in one. Went good, matinee and night. Rafayette's Animal Novelties. About 8 dogs, and one man. 13 minutes in the full stage. This is the best dog act that has ever played this house, as the dogs display a great deal of intelligence and the material is well chosen. Went good at matinee and night shows. Report on acts playing The Scenic Temple, week of Feb. 5, 1914. 1. George and Lillie Garden. Man and woman. Work 13 minutes in one. Classical and popular selections on the xylophone, and marimbaphone. A well dressed act. 2. Jesse Lasky's Eloping. Three men and one woman. 12 minutes in special set in full stage. A singing, talking, dancing and comedy sketch, full of laughs. Went fair at matinee, good at night. 3. Barney Gilmore. One man. The Gentleman from Ireland-- his billing. Songs, jokes, and some Irish view slides, which he aptly describes. Went good, matinee and night. The Tropical Trio. Three men. One works as a hunter, one as a monkey, and the other doubles as a lion and as a monkey. The act, which runs about 13 minutes in their own setting in the full stage, is composed of comedy by the man, acrobatics and rope-climbing, etc. by the "monkeys" The men who are in the monkeys are very clever, and they climb ropes, much as monkeys do. This act contains good laughs, and it went fair at the matinee, and good at the evening performance.
