Just to show she is still young, Maggie finished with a tango, danced with the house propertyman, which was nothing short of a riot. LOUIS A SIMON and CO. in "THE NEW PERSIAN GARDEN." 32 minutes f.s. Special set. This is the new edition of the comic opera formerly presented by Mr. Simon and Kathryn Osterman. There have been numerous changes in the cast, Flavia Arearo now plays Miss Osterman role and Lillian Bordman, late of Gus Edwards' Song Revue, sings the prima donna part, There is a new tenor, and the act now carries its own musical director. The dialogue remains about the same, but has an entirely new musical score. Mr. Simon's comedy got as many laughs as ever, while the act is much stronger than previously. Miss Bordman and the tenor dance a tango, which is later burlesqued by Simon and Miss Arearo. Notwithstanding that it followed two exceptionally strong turns, the act held the house seated to the finish.
