B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of February 15th, 1914. John F. Royal. WARTENBERG BROS. 9 min. F.S. Garden. Two men in a foot juggling act, also playing of mandolin. This is a novel opening act and went over in good shape. The men work fast, have a good routine and with some of their material get laughs. Closed well. Indianapolis. BISSETT AND SCOTT 8 min. in One. Street. Two boys in a commonplace dancing act. They did not get enough applause to do their encore. Very weak. Indianapolis. ROBERT L. DAILEY AND COMPANY 20 min. C.D.F. Two men and a woman in a farce comedy that is a big laugh from start to finish. Mr. Dailey puts a lot of life into his work and there is not a dull moment in the sketch. It is a nonsensical affair, with enough comedy in it to make it a hit. Went big. Louisville PRINCE LAI MON KIM 11 min. in One. Chinaman with a remarkable tenor voice, considering his nationality. Sings four numbers with good technique, plenty of expression, and is really one of the big features of the bill. Good closing. Louisville. CLARA MORTON 14 min. F.S., 3 min. Close in One. Pretty member of the Four Mortons, assisted by a man, in a sketch called "Hunting for the Family". There is very little to this act except Miss Morton's singing and dancing. She does a little protean work, but her personality and charm, together with her singing and dancing, is enough to get her over in good shape without any sketch. She got a reception upon her entrance, and a big closing. Open THREE BOHEMIANS 23 min. in One. Three men in an Italian street singing and musical act. While this act is a little long and a bit slow just at first, it worked up a big hit here. The ragtime played on the accordion went over very big, and, everything considered, this act held down this spot in a splendid shape. Baltimore. CRESSY AND DAYNE 28 min. F.S. Special. The old favorites with one of the best acts they have ever put on, and they were a big hit. Milwaukee. MERRILL AND OTTO 15 min. in One. This act did not hold down this spot. They worked hard, however, and did the best they could, but after the show that preceded them, they lacked punch. The act is a lot better than the one they had here on their last visit, and they went well considering that this is not a spot for such an act. Louisville. THOSE FRENCH GIRLS 17 min. F.S. Poorest closing act we have had this season. They stall too much, and it was not until they started the trapeze work that they got any action and pleased the few who remained in to see them. It was a dull finish to this show. Cleveland. LOCAL PICTURES Fair. Note -- Clara Morton did not appear here on Sunday. She came from Chicago to replace the Travilla Brothers, who were unable to open because of an accident to their tank enroute to this city from New York.
