I., Acts playing this theatre, week of march 2,1 914. Dolly Meaden. One woman. Works 10 minutes in one. Sings three songs, changing for each - pretty costumes. went good. The Mozarts. Man and woman. Open in special interior in two, then to special set in full. Presenting a Swiss novelty, introducing singing, wooden-shoe dancing, and dancing on snow shoes, finishing with dancing on the toes of the snow-shoes. The drop is good, and the special set is very pretty. Act is entitled "Snowed In" Runs 12 minutes. went good. Armstrong and O'Dell. man and woman. 13 minutes in one. Songs and conversation, introducing an impersonation of Vest Tilley by the woman, which is very good. Went good. The Five Mawatts. Four men and a boy. 13 minutes in the full stage. Club-jugglers, working very fast. Went good. Report on acts, playing this house, week of March 5, 1914. Leach and Wallen. Supposedly two women, but really man and woman. Slack-wire and iron-jaw act. The woman holds one end of the wire in her teeth, while the man, dressed as a woman, does stunts, which are very good on the wire. Special scenery in full stage. 13 minutes. Very good. Grant and Shirley. Man and woman. 13 minutes in full stage, before own plush drop. Singing, toe dancing, and the modern dances. Good : Happy Jack Gardner. Single man. Blackface monologue, with parodies. Finishes on a brass horn. Hit. 13-15 minutes in olio. The Five Annapolis Boys. Five men. Special set in full stage, 14 minutes. A miniature musical comedy introducing sea, popular, and other songs. The voices are good, and the act went well.
