B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of March 8th, 1914. John F. Royal. TWO ALFREDS 10 min. F.S. Pal. Head to head equilibrists. One of the best acts of its kind we have ever played here. All their tricks are good ones and all received big applause. They closed very strong. INDIANAPOLIS. CLAUDE GOLDEN 20 min. in One. Golden works in the audience much on the same style as Stan Stanley, who was here last week. Stanley's act took a great deal of the effective edge off of this act. Notwithstanding, it was a big hit and received a strong closing. Goldin has a good routine and a very novel manner of putting his stuff over. INDIANAPOLIS. THE THREE ELLISONS 21 min. Open in one, close F.S. Two men and a woman in a very artistic musical act. Their opening number, a rhapsodie, was well played, also their Village Blacksmith number. Their travesty on a locomotive is too slow of action and fell flat. On a whole, the act went over big. OPEN VERIGRAPH 7 min. in One. A very remarkable illusion explained by a lecturer, who broke plates and rattled sleigh bells in the talking pictures. He is still very much on the job and gets the pictures over. This novelty went very big. INDIANAPOLIS. CAVALLERRIE RUSTICANA 30 min. F.S. 22 people. From a vaudeville standpoint this act just about got over here. Our orchestra is enlarged, and an orchestra should be in order to treat this score properly. The principals are good singers, especially the tenor, but are not strong on acting. The chorus is poorly rehearsed, but they sing well. To those who hav'nt seen Cavellerria Rusticana in opera form, this act will prove satisfactory; to those who have - well they probably will be charitable. The beautiful music of the score and the singing went big, and at the Sunday night performance the applause was very generous at the finish. This act will get a better test from our regular patrons during the week than on Sunday night. CLEVELAND. RUBE DICKINSON 16 min. in One. Street. This man was a big laughing, but not a great applause hit, although he justly deserves to be. His type is rather unknown here and his voice did not reach our gallery, which made them restless. Nevertheless, he kept the orchestra and balcony in a constant uproar, and, while he did not get the applause he deserved at the finish, he proved very pleasing and entertaining to the audience. NORFOLK. IMHOFF, CONN AND COREENE 26 min. F.S. Special. Two men and a woman in a military travesty. It started off a bit slow, but soon became a big laughing hit and closed very big. One of the best acts we have played here this season from a laughing stand point. It gave the show a good boost in this spot. One of the big hits of the show. INDIANAPOLIS. RAY COX 30 min. in One. Miss Cox has two new songs and two old ones. All of them went over big. She went much better on this visit than last season and all her characterizations were well received. Her aeroplane number naturally went big. INDIANAPOLIS. ROEHN'S ATHLETIC GIRLS 13 min. F.S. Group of girls in well known physical culture act. Best closing feature this season. Good finish. OPEN. COMEDY MOTION PICTURE.
