B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of April 6, 1914 Cleveland, Ohio ROLANDOW BROTHERS - - 2 men. Special velour drop in 2. 7 minutes. Hand balancers. Makes a very good opening act. (Cincinnati) MARY ELIZABETH - - Palace in 1. 10 minutes. In songs and stories. Has a pleasing little act and closed very well. (Pittsburg) HARRY TATE & CO - - Special drop in 2. 4 men. 1 boy. "Motoring" The whole act seemed to lack ginger. Did not seem to have the speed of previous appearances. No one applauded at the close. (Cincinnati) MR. & MRS. VERNON CASTLE PICTURES - - 12 minutes. An interesting film showing the Castles in the latest society dances. Closed without a single hand. A few people snickered when the Castles were shown bowing at the finish. GALLAGHER & CARLIN - - Special cyclorama in 4.. 20 minutes. Presenting "Before the Mast". A clever team of comedians introducing some good parodies and humor. Both good singers. Closed very strong. (New York) CABARET TRIO - - 3 men. Palace in 1. 12 minutes. Two clever singers with a blind piano accompanist, who also does a little singing. A little above the average. The hit of the show up to this point. (Cincinnati) WILLIAM FAVERSHAM & CO - - Special set in 4. 22 minutes. Presenting a condensed version of "The Squaw Man". Mr. Faversham's portrayal of the character of Jim Carston is a dramatic classic so widely known, that praise at this time would be merely borrowed. The supporting is all that could be desired, Frank Brownlee's impersonation of Big Hill, the ranch foreman, being particularly effective. (Pittsburg) MR & MRS JIMMY BARRY - - Open special in 1, change to special in 2. 14 minutes. Same act they presented here last year "The Rube". Received the usual cordial reception. For a closing act it certainly held the people (Atlanta) PATHE'S WEEKLY
