R. S. Robbins WASHINGTON SHOW April 6, 1914 THE EL REY SISTERS 10 min. F.S. Two pretty girls in fancy costume do graceful roller skating, including clog, jig, and tango steps. Have a difficult and fast moving stunt at finish. Gets a good round of applause. THE MOZART DUO 13 min. in one. Two women, soprano and alto, in duets and solos, a la concert. Got enthusiastic applause from a discriminative few after each number. All join in for a good big hand after big finishing number FISHER & GREEN "The Partners" 19 min. F.S. Special set. (2 scenes) A clever sketch with funny lines around two hebrew partners, their business - ladies garments, and their supposed customer. Fissher and Green, good hebrew delineators. The audience laughing throughout and liberal applause at close. BOBBY HEATH & FLORRIE MILLERSHIP 22 min. in one. Carry accompanist. Original songs cleverly done, with pretty and funny dancing. Heath is well liked and Miss Millership scores decidedly with her winning personality. This act was a hit. VIRGINIA HARNED & Co. 25 min. F.S. "Anna Karenna" Two scenes. A big little play and a splendid vehicle to demonstrate Miss Harned's talents. The Star's work is most impressive and evokes rounds of applause. She is splendidly supported by Mr. Phillips and the rest of the company is quite adequate. A big hit. INTERMISSION: THE BRADS 11 min. F.S. Man in eccentric and woman in fancy costume do acrobatic contortions and funny "nut" comedy. The man's work extraordinary. that of the woman difficult and cleverly done. Laughter and applause throughout act and at finish. CECELIA WRIGHT 12 min. in one. A splendid selection of songs sung beautifully by a sweet and charming young woman, to enthusiastic applause. Miss Wright almost equals the success of Belle Story here, scoring a big hit. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS 12 min. in two. Special plush drop. This beautifully costumed and arranged dancing act, with its clever people and good music scoring a decided hit. A little six year old girl re-placing one member out, because of illness, added a valuable touch scoring an individual hit. PATHE WEEKLY Pictures interesting as usual. GENERAL REMARKS Corking good show cleverly appropriate to the week.
