REPORT FROM B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - MASSACHUSETTS. Week of April 27th - 1914 (Robert G. Larsen) BELL and CARON 11 minutes f.s. Garden. (Short opening in one) Olio. A very good tumbling act with a little toe dancing. Made an excellent opener. SHARP and TUREK 13 minutes in one. Special Drop. Man and woman in blackface singing and dancing turn. All right for this spot. CLAYTON KENNEDY and [HATTIE? MATTIE?] ROONEY 20 minutes f. s. C. D. F. Started off a little quiet, but worked up to a strong finish. GRACE DE MARR. 12 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Singing comedienne Singing all of Elizabeth Murray's songs, and certainly overpaid. Went very well in this position. GALLAGHER and CARLIN 17 minutes f.s. Special set. "Before the Mast. Scored one of the solid laughing hits of the show. Very Strong close. DANIELS and CONRAD 15 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Duplicated their big hit of previous visits. MR and MRS CARTER de HAVEN 26 minutes f. s. C. D. F. Assisted by David Stamper at the piano. The audience liked everything they did immensely. Strong applause after every number. A tremendous hand at the finish. "RUBE" DICKINSON 16 minutes in one. Street Drop. this man is without question the greatest in his line in vaudeville to-day. following Mr. & Mrs. Carter de Haven, who practically stopped the show, Dickinson held his audience to a man, and kept them in uproar of laughter from the time he made his entrance. Was forced to make a little speech at the finish. The laughing hit of the show. ZENO? JORDAN & ZENO 9 minutes f. s. Circus cyclorama. A first-rate aerial act that made a good closing feature. HEARST SELIG NEWS PICTORIAL 15 minutes in one. CUTS: Grace De Marr - "Georgie" song. Clayton Kennedy - "I'll be blamed for that" gag and business of thumbing nose.
