REPORT FROM B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - MASSACHUSETTS. Week of May 11th - 1914 (Robert G. Larsen) THE GRAZERS. 8 minutes f. s. Palace. A very fair opening act with toe dancing, piano playing and instrumental music. The surprise finish gets a strong hand. JOHN T. MURRAY 13 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Murray has considerable new material since his last visit here. Scored a decided hit. THE BRADS 11 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Man and woman in a rattling good grotesque tumbling turn. Some of the feats are exceptionally clever. Went big. SIX KIRKSMITH SISTERS 12 minutes f. s. Special set. Short close in one. About the same act they gave us on their last visit. Going very well in this position. EDMUND HAYES and CO "The Piano Movers." 22 minutes f. s. C. D. F. Same laughter riot as on previous visits. LUPINO LANE 11 minutes in one. Garden Drop. English comic singer and eccentric dancer. His work is full of life and ginger, and he went very well. PAUL CONCHAS 22 minutes f. s. Special set. Conchas has a really clever comedian for an assistant, and his act proved one of the strong laughing features of the show, Closed strong. MR and MRS JIMMIE BARRY "The Rube." 22 minutes in one. Two special drops. A big laughing hit. MISS ORFORD'S ELEPHANTS 17 minutes f. s. Garden. This is a return engagement for the elephants, as since their last appearance in Boston, a public subscription has been raised to purchase them for the Boston Zoo. This is their farewell appearance on the stage. At the conclusion of the afternoon performance, all the youngsters in the audience are invited upon the stage to see the elephants and receive a souvenier elephants [babks?]. The act itself went as big as ever. "BOSTON IN MOTION" 15 minutes in one. A series of local events in pictures. Timely and interesting. CUTS: Mr and Mrs Jimmie Barry - "two year older" gag.
