R.S. Robbins WASHINGTON SHOW May 18, 1914 TUSCANO BROS. 8 min. F.S. Two athletic men in Gladiator costume juggle, throw, and catch battle-axes cleverly and thrillingly. Going good. RICK & CALVIN 11 min. in one. Heat soft and hard shoe dancing. Natty clothes and good manner. Best team of this kind this season. Going very good. THREE COLLEGIANS 20 min..in 3, close in one. Splendid piano playing and singing. Good comedy and dancing with college atmosphere. "I'm going back to Dixie" and "They're on their way to Mexico" song hits. Act going big. ANDREW F. KELLY 13 min. in one. Monologist. A good story teller but material old and fairly good. Going only fairly well. MR. & MRS. CARTER DE HAVEN 26 min. F.S. Clever patter to music interloped with songs and dances. The technique, clothes and gowns of the artists combine to make a charming, classy act, in spire of the surfeit of self advertisement in the patter. Going very well. INTERMISSION MARIE SHAW 12 min. in one. Soprano. Sings three classical numbers and gets a very good hand after each. SWOR & MACK 22 min. in one. These blackface comedians are scoring one of the biggist laughing and applause hits here this season. Their dialogue, pantomime crap and poker games, and travesty dance were a scream. MME. ADELAIDE HERMANN & CO. 20 min. F.S. Company set. The Magic and Illusions with the pretty set and costumes were good entertainment, holding the audience splendidly. Good hand. HEARST-SELIG REVUE Splendid reel with especially timely war pictures.
