BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY JULY 20, 1914. DICK FERGUSON: Eccentric dancing, 9 minutes in (1) Good act, displaying much aptitude in eccentric dancing that quite won the house, and brought him well-merited applause. MILDRED & RUTH: Singing and piano, 12 minutes in (1) Good act, showing a good choice of songs, rendered in voices of good calibre. One of the ladies is suffering from a very severe cold, which makes her task doubly difficult, but happily this fact escapes the notice of the audience, who accorded good applause. TEN TOOZOONIN ARABS: 8 minutes, full stage. Wonderfully good act: They created a veritable sensation by their whirlwind ground tumbling, and lofty acrobatics; They work extremely fast, and every thing is new. The audience accorded them tremendous applause, quickly recognizing the wonderful nature of their performance. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY JULY 23, 1914. PERMAINE: Musical, 10 minutes in (1). Good act, displaying a wide variety of selections on the concertina, which went fairly well with the house. Special scenery adds greatly to the act which keeps the audience interested and in a happy mood throughout. ELECTRICAL HUGHES: 10 minutes C.D.F. One lady. One Man. Good novelty act, which shows much originality and skill. Their various feats are all well done, and the audience was very appreciative, as evidenced by the really good applause which greeted the act. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager.
