Report on Providence show week of September 21, 1914. Charles Lovenberg, Mgr. We have a very good bill this week and one that pleased in every particular and should draw money. SAM BARTON Comedy pantomine act copied from Joe Jackson and mighty near as good. I do not believe the audience realized the difference. 12 minutes F. S. MCCORMACK & IRVING Flirtation, singing, and comedy act with special drop which is very good. The act is commendable. 18 minutes in two. LAWRENCE & EDWARDS Two men in a character comedy act, one depicting a veteran of the Civil War. A lot of bright lines and the act is quite well presented. 20 minutes in one. ALLAN DINEHART & CO. In "The Meanest Man in the World". Splendid sketch. Exceptionally well acted. 22 minutes F. S. LOTTIE COLLINS, JR. Miss Collins is certainly a picture on the stage. A beautiful woman and wears some magnificent gowns, as fine as any we ever had on our stage. She is worth the money for the picture that she presents. She does a number of songs that are quite acceptable and it is an act that no one need be afraid to play. 12 minutes in one. THE MEISTERSINGERS Well known triple quartette who went as well as ever. THE THREE LEIGHTONS Comedy talking with singing and dancing. They held this spot with great satisfaction. 22 minutes in one. TREVITT'S MILITARY DOGS This is quite a novelty. The scene representing a camp and all the work being of a military nature, finishing with an attack on the enemy, which is a couple of cats, which the dogs vanquish. Went very well and got good applause and laughter. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
