REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of MARCH 1st '15. PATHE WEEKLY 15 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. WILLE BROTHERS 11 minutes f.s. Palace. It is a crime to open the show with this act. But there was no other way out of it. Needless to say, they were a big hit. HAZELL COX 17 minutes in one. Special Draperies. The younger sister of Ray Cox, singing character songs written by her more famous sister. Carries a pianist. A good singing act. Went first-rate. HENRIETTA CROSMAN and CO in "THOUS SHALT NOT KILL" 15 minutes f.s. Special Set. Miss Crosman has a beautiful act, well put on and excellently played. But the fact remains that dramatic acts never seem to go in Boston. Sixth on the bill, Monday afternoon, Miss Crosman put such a damper on the bill that we were obliged to move her up to number three for the evening performance. Held the interest all through and closed well, with most of the audience in tears. DONAHUE and STEWART 23 minutes in one. Street. A very good eccentric dancing and comedy act. Did about everything they knew, and still the audience wanted more. RAMON BLANCHART 12 minutes f.s. Music Room. Mr. Blanchart is a Spanish baritone from the Boston Opera House. He is singing four numbers: "Werther;" "Your Eyes;" "Largo el factotum" from "The Barber of Seville;" and "O Promise Me." A classy local feature that went over in good shape for Boston. FISHER and GREENE in "The Partners." 23 minutes f.s. Special Set. Open street drop in one, 5 minutes. These boys remain one of the standard laughing acts of vaudeville. Their sketch has been seen here before, but they have brightened it up with new lines. Got as many laughs as ever. BROOKS and BOWEN 18 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Held this hard spot with credit. JESSE L. LASKY'S "THE BEAUTIES" 36 minutes f.s. Special Set. this act has deteriorated greatly since it played Boston last year. but two of the original principals remain. The girls are nearly all new. The scenery and wardrobe show the effects of the long trip to the Coast and back. The act did not get over in anything like the fashion it did on its first visit here. Had hard work holding them in to the finish.
