REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of APRIL 12 - '15. (R. G. Larsen.) HERBERT GERMAINE TRIO 9 minutes f.s. Garden. A good bar act. Started the show off in great shape. RAY DOOLEY TRIO 19 minutes open in one, go to f.s., close in one about two minutes. Went over very well in this spot. CLARK and BERGMAN in "THE SOCIETY BUDS" 34 minutes f.s. Special Set. There was a long wait before this act, on account of the lack of time in one ahead of it. The act was evidently on too early, because it did not get the audience at all. At night, it went over big. EDWIN GEORGE 15 minutes in one. Garden Drop. Went first-rate. Has about the same line of stuff as when here before. In fact, a hit. HERMINE SHONE and COMPANY 23 minutes f.s. Special Set. This act got some laughs and a hand at the finish. KARL JORN 18 minutes in three. A long wait of 4 minutes after Miss Shone's act, as Jorn wanted to work in two. Jorn is one of the genuine hits we have had in this class of an act. Has a wonderful voice and in the evening particularly, he was very strong. JAMES and BONNIE THORNTON 31 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. The real hit of the show was Jim and Bonnie Thornton. The audience sang "Annie Rooney" and they got laughs right through to the finish, with a big hand at the close. PRINCESS RAJAH 12 minutes f.s. Two special sets. Rajah was rather killed in this spot this afternoon owing to the change of scene, but the evening, with the order changed, she was a hit. COMMENT: In the evening the show went over in much better shape with a couple of short waits. The new running order follows: Herbert Germained Trio - Ray Dooley Trio - Hermine Shone & Co - Edwin George - Karl Jorn - Rajah - James and Bonnie Thornton - Society Buds.
