REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of JUNE 14th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen) SAMOYNA Spanish Aerialist. 7 minutes FS. Garden. Single man who works on a swinging rope. does the giant swing and other good stunts. An excellent opener. Out of the usual run of aerial acts. MISSES CAMPBELL 11 minutes in one. Special Drop. Wellknown singing and musical act that went very well in this spot. Would go better further down. CHARLES AHEARN TROUPE 9 minutes FS. Special Set. Has some new freak bicycles. Scored a big laughing hit. HANS KRONOLD 22 minutes in one. Olio Drop. One of the best cellists we have ever played. A bit hit. ELEANOR GORDON and CO "The Discovery" 23 minutes FS. Dark tapestry. This is a very fair comedy sketch. Serves as a good vehicle for Miss Gordon, who is a great favorite in Boston. Went very well at both performances. LaFRANCE and BRUCE 17 minutes in one. Special Drop. Two man blackface comedy act with one song. Close with a boxing match, that is broken up by a chicken hunt. A good rough comedy act that went first rate. FISKE O'HARA 16 minutes FS. Music Room. Singer of Irish ballads, Old and new. Has a very good voice and a good programme. Went big at both performances. STEWART and DONAHUE 23 minutes in one. Street. Held this position in great shape, and rolled up one of the big laughing hits of the show. KLUTINGS' ANIMAL ENTERTAINERS 12 minutes FS. Special Set. A very pretty act with dogs, cats, pigeons and a rabbit. A satisfactory closing feature. CUTS: Charlie Ahearn Troupe - man and woman together in bed. LaFrance and Bruce - What the Hell.
