BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY JUNE 24, 1915. EIGHT BLACK DOTS: COLORED SINGING & DANCING ACT, 18 MIN. F. S. Substitute act received from Boston: Good act, sing very well, and are quite clever as dancers. Were well received at all performances. MELVIN & THATCHER: COMEDY TALKING SKIT, 16 MIN. (1) 2 MEN. Also received from Boston as substitute; Particularly good act, comedy being very funny, and produces roars of laughter. SYLVIA LOYAL & COMPANY: VARIETY NOVELTY, 10 MIN. F. S. Sp. DROP. Good act, quite clever in juggling, and the scenic and lighting effects, together with a goodly number of trained pigeons makes a truly beautiful display. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY JUNE 21, 1915. CADIEUX: BOUNDING WIRE ACT, 8 MINUTES FULL STAGE. Good act, accomplishing some very difficult feats with an ease and grace that won instant recognition from all beholders. WARD & FITZGERALD: COMEDY SINGING & TALKING SKIT, 17 MINUTES (1) Good act, with plenty of new and original material; Some excellent impersonations by the lady, and some very infectious comedy by the man. One of the best teams ever seen here, and particularly well-received. WILLARD THE MAN WHO GROWS: 10 MINUTES (1) Good act from the viewpoint of novelty and causes much speculation as to the manner of accomplishing his very unique performance. Exceptionally interesting, and highly entertaining diversion. Besides which, he helps materially in advertising with the aid of a beautiful big touring-car, placarded with pennants and streamers announcing the fact of his presence in town, and where he may be seen. He travels all over the town, and the result can well be imagined, greater crowds; It is a novel and telling scheme, and works wonders in the advertising line.
