Have pleasing voices and were liberally applauded. HENSHAW & AVERY. 21 min. In "A Vaudeville Table D'Hote." This well known couple offer a series of travesty bits composed principally of talk but with a song here and there. It was all well handled and got considerable laughter. Finished to a good hand. ETHEL MacDONOUGH. 17 min. Sang five numbers, three of them new, including a medley of popular numbers. Scored fair results with the first two and finished very strong with the last two, closing to a strong hand. MOSCONI BROS. 7 min. This is a Philadelphia act but the boys have a dancing act that will go anywhere. Open in evening clothes with double and single number and follow with a Charley Chaplin bit that was a riot of applause all the way through. They were one of the biggest hits of the bill and were forced to acknowledge several bows. THEODORE BENDIX. & SYMPHONY PLAYERS. 20 min. A very high class instrumental music act. Four men including Mr. Bendix at the piano. Offer an excellent selection of classical and popular numbers, all very well played and a real treat for music lovers. Scored a solid hit. CONROY & LE MAIRE. 21 min. In "The New Physician." This is the same blackface sketch they used with "The Passing Show" and also in vaudeville last year. It held the audience in a scream of laughter from start to finish. SKATERS BIJOUVE. 8 min. Very pretty novelty skating act by man and woman in attractive costumes. Their work consists of dancing and acrobatic feats on rollers. "20th CENTURY COURTSHIP." 16 min. This is a local picture with Marie Post as the young society woman. Tells the story of the meeting and marriage of a young couple, following them around the city and into various department stores, railroad stations, etc., until the finish of their trip. Held considerable interest as a local feature. GENERAL REMARKS. Well balanced show that pleased a holiday crowd despite the absence of Ben Welch who missed the opening performance on account of delay in reaching the city. Show ran well from startt to finish.
