REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of JULY 19th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen.) PATHE NEWS 16 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. Fairly interesting series of pictures, with Harry K. Thaw playing a prominent part. WARD, BELL and WARD CO. 9 minutes f.s. Special Set. Very short opening in one. Acrobatics with a little dancing and high kicking. Excellent opener. MAE BRONTE and ERNEST ALDWELL 14 minutes in one. Special Drop. Man and woman in flirtation act with several songs. The voices are much better than the average act of this character. A good act. MR and MRS GORDON WILDE 13 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Shadow-graphists. Have some novel shadow pictures. Went very well. OTA GYGI 11 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. This violinist has an excellent programme. Puts it over in great shape. THE MEISTERSINGERS in "THE FLAG STATION" 22 minutes f.s. Special Set. Going bigger than ever on their third week with a change of programme. CHARLEY CASE 17 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Doing the same line of stuff without a change of any kind. Losing some over past performances. GEORGE HOWELL and CO in "THE RED FOX TROT" 17 minutes f.s. C.D.F. After Monday, Mr Howell changed this act somewhat, modifying the "nance" character, (which is prohibited in Boston), until he now has it more of a society fop. The act is certainly more wholesome with the change and goes fully as well. CECIL CUNNINGHAM 16 minutes in two. Palace Drop. Miss Cunningham has all original songs and a beautiful voice. Filled this spot. In fact, went very strong. JOSIE O'MEERS 6 minutes f.s. Palace. This wellknown wire act made an acceptable closer.
