REPORT on PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK of OCTOBER 11, 1915. CHARLES LOVENBERG, Manager. The bill as a whole was rather disappointing after the good results of last week, still most of the acts got considerable applause, and on reconstruction may get over better than it did at the opening performance. Seymour's Happy Family. Originally booked to close the show, but not strong enough for that position. Rather slow. 16 Min. F. S. Rae Eleanor Ball Violinst. She probably gets as good results from a vaudeville audience as any of the artists in her line. Made her usual big hit. 15 Mins. IN One Lloyd & Britt Two Men; singing, dancing and talking. Pretty good comedy act. Went first rate with the audience. 16 Mins. In One. Julie Ring & Co. in "Twice A Week" I will have to say that this act fared very poorly indeed. Is a great disappointment. I don't know where all the laughs are I have been told about; certainly didn't get them today. 20 Mins. F. S. Dooley & Sales. Well Known act which scored as usual. 23 Mins. In One. Fritzi Scheff. Miss Scheff is a good box office attraction, and looks beautifully on the stage. She knows how to handle her material, and if she had as good a voice as Marion Weeks, she would be a good singer. 15 Mins. F. S. Watson Sisters. These girls met with a cordial reception, plenty of advance applause from their audience, and lots of applause for their songs. When compared with many other women who are getting the same salary--having in mind Sophie Tucker--I consider them a splendid bargain. 16 Mins. In One. Valentine & Bell. Bicycle act of mediocre quality. Not strong enough to close the show, but am obliged to put them there. 8 Mins. F. S. Motion Pictures. O. K.
