REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of APRIL 17th - 1916. R. G. Larsen. FIVE JUGGLING NORMANS 6 minutes fs. Garden Set. Just a fair opener. DONALD KERR and EFFIE WESTON 9 minutes in one. Garden Drop. Eccentric cakewalking and dancing. Full of life and ginger. Got over in this spot. PALFREY, HALL and BROWN 15 minutes fs. Special Set. Woman and two men in songs, dances and bicycle tricks. One of the men does some dancing and singing on the single wheel that is good. In fact, made quite a hit. Good act and went over well. NELSON WARING 20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Pianologue with one recitation. This man plays mostly popular stuff including variations on "Chinatown" that introduce quite a bit of comedy. Put over a decided hit. FRANK McINTYRE and CO in "The Hat Salesman." 22 minutes fs. C.D.F. This act has been played here before by Digby Bell. McIntyre puts it over in good shape, and got a lot of laughs. Closed strong. ANNA CHANDLER 18 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. The audiences Monday did not seem to care over much for Miss Chandler. She passed, and that's about all. She lacks personality, and her type is better suited to the local Marcus Loew houses than it is to the audiences we get at Keith's. JASPER, THE DOG ACTOR 14 minutes fs. C.D.F. Jasper was one of the hits of the show. He got applause after everyone of his stunts, and closed very strong. Should be the most talked about feature of the show. RYAN and LEE 21 minutes in one. Street. This couple put over the hit of the bill. MORGAN DANCERS 16 minutes fs. Special Draperies. A beautiful dancing act, handsomely staged, that held the audience in to the finish in great shape.
