REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW - APRIL 24th - 1916. R. G. Larsen. JESSIE KELLER and TOMMY WEIR 13 minutes. Open Olio in one. Go to fs. special cyclorama, close Olio in one. Open with songs, draw off for bicycle riding by woman, and close with songs. Neither has much of a voice, and their material has all been sung to death here. The woman makes a great appearance on the wheel, but we had to dress her up as the Mayor will not permit full tights to be worn in this city. Just a fair small-time act. FRANK PARISH and PERU 11 minutes in one. Garden. Here is a corking good act. Dancing, jumping, musical stunts and balancing, by two men in novelty costumes. Full of go every minutes and put over a good-sized hit. DERKIN'S ANIMALS 11 minutes fs. Special Set. Duplicated their success of previous visits. LEO BEERS 18 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Has some new material. Went over first-rate. MARY SHAW and CO in "The Dickey Bird." 29 minutes fs. Special set. This is a splendid high-class comedy, with a beautiful and artistic stage setting. Capitally played, and got a great many laughs. ROGER GRAY and CO 21 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Two men and two women in songs, comedy and dances. Put over one of the biggest hits of the show. IRENE FRANKLIN and BURTON GREEN 31 minutes fs. CDF. It is two years since Miss Franklin played this house. All her songs, with the exception of "Janitor's Child," (used as an encore,) are new to Boston. To say she was a hit is putting it mildly. LEW DOCKSTADER 18 minutes in one. Street. Doing the same act, word for word and line for line, that he gave us on his last visit. The audiences to-day did not laugh at some of the jokes that went big on his previous visit. Considering that he followed Miss Franklin, and had a hard spot, Dockstader went over in very good shape. VERA SABINA and CO Classic Dances. 10 minutes fs. Special Draperies. Would make a better opener. COMMENT: With the exception of the first and last acts, we have a splendid show this week. Some of the terms were very big hits.
