REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW week of JUNE 12th - 1916. R.G. Larsen. FIVE ANTWERP GIRLS 11 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Rather hard spot for an act of this character. Passed quietly. WHITE and CLAYTON 13 minutes in one. Olio Drop. A rattling good two-man eccentric dancing act. A hit. MISS NORTON - PAUL NICHOLSON 20 minutes f.s. Plain chamber. Doing the same act without a new line, and getting away with it. JULIA CURTISS 8 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Another act that has been seen here many times, but she went over strong. LONG TACK SAM'S CHINESE WONDER WORKERS 23 minutes f.s. Special Set. The hit of the show. JACK E. GARDNER 17 minutes in one. Street Drop. Another hit. HENRIETTA CROSMAN and CO in "Cousin Eleanor" 21 minutes f.s. Special Set. This is an excellent comedy, and Miss Crosman has gathered a good company to support her. The woman who plays the chorus lady is exceptionally clever. Got many laughs and closed strong. AL LYDELL and BOB HIGGINS 20 minutes in one. Special Drop. This is the Lydell, Rogers & Lydell act with a new setting and a new twist. Lydell does his old man character, and Bob Higgins is the foil, as a country barber. Held the spot in good shape and closed well with their eccentric dancing. A first-class comedy act for next-to-closing position. EL REY SISTERS 7 minutes f.s. Palace. This act has also been seen here a number of times. Acceptable closer. CUTS: Henrietta Crosman - "God" and "Damn" Jack Gardner - effiminate dialogue Norton & Nicholson - business of killing bedbug on table cloth REPORT on BOSTON SHOW KEITH'S week of JUNE 5th - 1916. R. G. Larsen. HUBERT DYER and PETER ALVIN 11 minutes fs. Special Drop. A splendid comedy ring and tumbling act. A hit. RALPH SMALLEY Cellist. 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Hard spot for an act of this character, but he went over first-rate. HERMANN and SHIRLEY 12 minutes fs. C.D.F. A hit. BIG CITY FOUR 17 minutes in one. Street. All of their numbers were new but one - The Rosary, - and they went over strong. HERMINE SHONE and CO in "The Last of the Quakers." 26 minutes fs. Special Set. Despite the fact that this act depends upon ridicule of religion to get its laughs, and for that reason is apt to offend some people, it went over in good shape. MARY MELVILLE 14 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Has a good line of material, and puts it over well, but her closing song is pretty raw. MISSES CAMPBELL 13 minutes in one. Special Drop. One of the classiest and best singing acts that we play. A big hit. "THE RED HEADS" with JAMES B. CARSON and CO 41 minutes f.s. Special Set. We featured this act very heavily, and it duplicated its success of previous visits. CUTS: Hermine Shone - "Damn." COMMENT: We have a very good show this week. Plenty of comedy, and every act scored.
