REPORT on BOSTON SHOW KEITH'S for WEEK of JUNE 26th 1916 R. G. Larsen. THE NORVELLES 8 minutes f.s. C.D.F. "In An Artist's Studio." Man and woman on the Roman rings in a novel setting. Nice, clean act of the kind. Excellent opener. EMIL SUBERS 11 minutes in one. Street. Blackface comedian. Just a fair #2 act. Passed quietly. REDFORD and WINCHESTER 22 minutes f.s. Special Drop. Short close in one, if necessary. Olio Drop. Same old act, and getting away with it in good shape. CRAIG CAMPBELL 17 minutes in one. Olio Drop. One of the hits of the show. JOE KENO and ROSIE GREEN 14 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Close in one. Olio Drop. About the same act, and putting it over in great shape. ADLER and ARLINE 18 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Another act that has been seen here many times, but they went well. BILLY B. VAN and the BEAUMONT SISTERS in "Spooks." 30 minutes f.s. Special Set. It has been several years since Van played this house. He is as funny as ever, and got the laughs. The finish, however, was rather quiet. They close with a burlesque on a prayer meeting, and Boston audiences don't seem to care for acts that make fun of religion. NONETTE 23 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Another act that has not appeared here in a long time. Scored a big hit. JOE BOGANNY'S LUNATIC BAKERS 12 minutes f.s. Special Set. This is the #2 act, and while not quite so good as the #1 troupe, made a first-rate closing feature. CUTS: Emil Subers - gag about negro woman's foot being dead Billy Van - bushwah Boganny Troupe - My God
