189 REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of JULY 17th '16 H. G. Larsen SORETTY and Antoinette 9 minutes f.s. C.D.F. man and woman working as a "drunk" and a maid. in a rough acrobatic act. The feature of the turn is some remarkable falls off tables four and five high by the man. Good opener. YOUNG and BROWN 10 minutes in one. Olio. Conventional sister act. Filled the spot. JOHN E. HENSHAW and GRACE AVERY 18 minutes in one and f.s. Garden, Palace, Olio, C.D.F. and Street. Could do entire act in one just as well. The same old stuff, and getting away with it pretty well. JULIETTE DIKA 15 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Sings five songs, one of which was cut Monday afternoon because it was pretty blue. With four numbers, Monday night, she put over a big hit. TRAVERS and DOUGLAS in "MEADOWLARK LANE" 19 minutes f.s. Special set. Charming little comedy with a quaint setting. extremely well played. Went over in very good shape. WILLIE WESTON 18 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Has to be watched closely. His material this year is mostly good and new. A hit. AMELIA STONE and ARMAND KALISZ in "MA'MZELE CAPRICE" 20 minutes f.s. Special set. A beautiful act. The stage setting is exquisite. Story of a couple locked in a cafe dining room by mistake, set to pretty music and with quite a bit of light comedy. A very high-class and pleasing act that held the interest and closed very strong. WARD BROTHERS 15 minutes in one. Street drop. Had a pretty hard spot, but they got away with it in good shape. FIVE IDANIAS 11 minutes f.s. Palace Set. Novelty ring and trapeze act by five women, with electrical effects. Acceptable closer. CUTS: Juliette Dika - entire song, "It's Nobody's Business But Their Own." "Meadowbrook Lane" - word "damn". Willie Weston - gag about "If the men are no truer tot heir country than to their wives, Heaven help the U.S.A." and all talk and effiminate business about "the lovely fellow."
