231 Report on Shows Playing Pawtucket Scenic Theatre Oct. 9, 1916. THE FRITCHERS Man and woman in full stage 14 Min. Comedy acrobat offering on the bump order with a finish of the "Melrose" Fall from three tables. The woman does very little in this offering. Went Well. Frankie Heath Works in one 15 Min. Comedy songs and a little talk on the "Nut" line. Man at Piano furnishes her music. Went Fairly Well. Granville & Mack Man and woman work in two in Italian make up. Some very good comedy talk and a little sinign A practical St. organ is used in the act. Act finishes with a song and piano accordian playing by man. The Real hit of the bill going over very big at all shows. "The Girl in the gown Shop" Miniture musical comedy with seven girls comedian and straight man. Act has little plot, singing and comedy talk. Some pretty gowns are worn. Special set full stage. Went Well. REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING PAWT. SCENIC THEATRE OCT. 16, 1916. Shorty DeWitt Works in one 14 Min. Comedy songs eccentric dancing. went Well. CHas. Norcross Co. man and woman in full stage 15 Min. Sketch with singing. The offering looks new as their were a number of mistakes the lines. Went Well. John & Mae Burke Man and woman in one full stage an one Comedy talk and piano playing with a little sining by Miss. Burke Third appearance in two years and were the big hit Going over very b THE HERMIT" Two men and one woman in a neat li offering of comedy and a little dra c ofwhich there is a funny finish The act work s in special act 15 Mi Went Well. REPORT OF SHOW PLAYING THE Scenic Theatre Pawt. Oct 23, 16 Murphy & Lachmar Man and Woman in one 15 Min. Comedy Talk and little singi went Fairly Well. "Vice Versa" Moved from closing to 2nD. after matnee. Two men and one woman in comedy sketch. Comedy carried to the sicking state by being foolish. Some laughs but went poor all shows. The poorest sketch we have played in some time. The Three Avolos A very good musical offering one 14 Min. Play xylophones and play them well. Three men A very good line of selection Went Well. The Great LeRoy Moved from #1 to close afte the matnee show. Asst. by man and woman in a very good escape offering which went over very big. The Talk of the town, REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING PAWT. SCENIC THEATRE OCT. 12, 1916 Merles BIRDS Numerous cockatoos are presented by man and woman in full stage 14 Min. Pretty setting and a neat offering Went Well. Williams & Kent "ON AND OFF" presented by two men who open in one 2 min. and close in two 13 Min. Comedy offering with a song and some dancing. Went Well. Jim and Marion Hawkins Man and woman 2nd. Appearance work in one 15 Min. Sining and "Nut work by man who gets a lot of his comedy by talking about orther acts on the bill. Went Well. Walsh-Lynch Co. Two men and one woman present a com sketch with a little singing "Along Erie" Special set full stage. (2nd appearance) A good offering which went well. 17 Min. REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING PAWT. R. I. SCENIC THEATRE OCT. 19/16. BLACK & MCCONE TWO men in one and full stage 14 Min. Talking and burlesgue bump acrobats. Went Fair Althoff Children Two Firls in Fullstage 10 min. Musical and singing Piano and organ. Neat offering. Went Fair. Telegraph Trio Three men in one sining in harmony fair voices. Slap stick comedy 15 Min. Went Good. William Morrow Co. Man and woman in full stage specia set 15 Min. Neat offering of witty talk and some comedy singing both having good voices. Went Well For A Sketch. REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC PAWT. R. I. OCT. 16/16. Vivian Cahill Works in full stage 10 Min. Trapeze and webb offering opening hanging by teeth while disrobing. Talks during act which is along the suggestive line. Went Fair. The Kiddies Burglar Sketch made up of singing and dancing and musical. Using banjo violin. Three children and man and woman. A very good offering all showing a lot of talent. 15 Min. F. Stage Went Good. Ben Smith Works in one 15 Min. Blackface comedian with a good voice and a good line of stories. Went Well. Homonie Girls Five ladies work full stage 15 Min. Special set. Musical offering play Harp, violins and Cello. pretty offering and good numbers with some good singing. Went Good.
