BOSTON, Mass. B.F.KEITH'S FEB. 5th 7 ROY and ARTHUR 12 minutes fs. Special set. Well-known comedy juggling act. Excellent opener. DONALD E. ROBERTS 14 minutes in one. Special cut drop. "The Strolling Tenor." This man dresses in a classy riding suit, and makes his entrance through a rail fence in a cut drop. Has a splendid voice and a good program. Went over first-rate. FRANK HALE and SIGNE PATTERSON and VERSATILE SEXTETTE 13 minutes fs. Special cyclorama. About as fast and clean a dancing act as we have played this season. A very big hit. DYER and FAY 24 minutes in one. Olio Drop. A laughing hit at both performances. FAY TEMPLETON 24 minutes fs. Light interior. Miss Templeton got a reception, and scored a decided hit. She opens in evening dress, changes to the "So Long, Mary" costume, and closes in blackface with an old Southern "mammy" number. GALLAGHER and LEWIS 21 minutes fs. Special Set. Open and close in one. Special drop. "My Friend, The Judge." Comedy sketch with a couple of songs. Gallagher and Lewis are supported by two girls and a man. Open in front of a New York hotel; draw off to a private dining room; and close in one with burlesque wedding. Their scenery did not arrive in time for either show Monday. Lewis plays a Hebrew, just elected a judge, from Brooklyn; while Gallagher is the political boss, working "straight." Got quite a number of laughs and went over very well. GRACE DE MAR 14 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Miss De Mar has some excellent material, and she puts it over in good shape. Went very well. BLOSSOM SEELEY and CO in "SEELEY'S SYNCOPATED STUDIO" 21 minutes fs. Light interior. Short opening in one. Despite the fact that Miss Seeley closed one of the swiftest shows of the season, with lots of singing and dancing, she was the hit of the show. Closed very strong. MRS. VERNON CASTLE in FOURTH EPISODE of "PATRIA" 23 minutes in one. About two-thirds of the audience remained in to see the serial CUTS Gallagher and Lewis - business of throwing hat into audience. Cut the verse in closing song about "twin beds" and baby for each.
