Boston, Mass. B. F. KEITH'S May 14th 7 MOTION PICTURES of JOFFRE PARADE in BOSTON 7 minutes in one. These pictures were shown in Keith's Theatre Saturday afternoon, one hour after the parade finished. We held them over this week, showing them at the close of the Hearst-Pathe News Pictorial. The Weekly shows the Joffre party in St. Louis, Philadelphia, and New York, and the local pictures complete the tour. Timely and interesting. FOUR MARLES 6 minutes f.s. Garden. Two girls and two men dressed in white, doing an aerial iron-jaw act. None of the tricks amount to much. As a sight act, the turn made a fairly acceptable opener. NELSON WARING 19 minutes in one. Olio drop. Pianist. This man has brightened up his act with some new selections. Going very well. REMPLE SISTERS and PLAYERS in "YOU" 17 minutes f.s. Special set. Novelty comedy with touches of comedy. The novelty of the setting and the handling of the characters form its strongest appeal. Held the interest, and closed fairly well. KELLY & GALVIN 22 minutes in one. Street drop. This act is the comedy hit of the show. A very funny turn, with plenty of "pep." Went over strong. DAISY JEAN 20 minutes f.s. C.D.F. A talented and versatile musician. Plays the violin, cello, piano and harp, and sings. Has a beautiful voice, and everything is well done. Registered a solid hit at both performances Monday. HARRY COOPER & CO in "THE MAIL CARRIER" 18 minutes in one. Street drop. Doing the same act, without a change. The straight man is not very good. Taken as a whole, the act is rather out of place. ELIZABETH M. MURRAY 20 minutes in one. Olio drop. Miss Murray's repertoire is composed entirely of old songs. She tells some stories, which got laughs. "The 5:15" and "Come Out of the Kitchen, Mary Ann," went over strong. JOHN B. HYMER & CO in "TOM WALKER IN DIXIE" 37 minutes in one and f.s. Special sets. This is a funny act, with some good character work by Mr. Hymer; the Devil; and the little girl. Is a big long-drawn-out, but it certainly made the audience laugh at both shows Monday. OLGA MISHKA & CO 9 minutes f.s. Special set. A pretty dancing act by a boy and a girl. A violinist in the pit fills in the waits during changes with two solos. The people look well, and the set is attractive. Acceptable closer. CUTS Kelly & Galvin - gag about "California in doubt." This is very raw. Harry Cooper - gag about "Who is your father? I don't know. I was born in South Boston."
