CHARLES REILLY--- The Irish-American Humorist---makes-up very neat in evening clothes; singing popular Irish ballads and tells several Celtic stories; 15 min. in one; went weak. MARIO & TREVETTE--- Chautauqua Favorites in an Operatic Novelty---man and woman; special drop representing Venice at night; sings two songs in Italian and three in English; 13 min. in two; went good. WHAT HAPPENED TO RUTH--- Two men and a woman; one man works in the box; comedy act; This act should have gone better, but the audience did not seem to grasp the meaning--slow--10 min. full stage. REPORT ON THE SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET SEPT. 24, 1917. La Marte Bros. Two men in one 11 Min. Piano playing whistling and the mimic of birds etc. Went Good. Schofield, Martin Co. Two men two women in full stage 22 min. Comedy sketch "King Full" Well acted. Went Good. Crawford & Broderick Co. Man and woman in one 12 Min. Comedy chatter a little singing and a little dancing. Went Good. Farrell, Taylor & Co. Two men (blackface) and two women (White) work in one and full stage 21 Min. Comedy offering with harp and claranet playing by the women. HIT.
