Boston, Mass. Keith's Oct. 1-17. Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Wilde; 11 minutes, f.s.. These English Shadowgraphists have changed their act but very little since last playing here, but still it is put over in such a clever manner it made a very good opening act for our show. Dooley & Nelson; 12 minutes in 1. These boys opened up with regular "singing and dancing" style, shifted to bicycle riding, ballad singing, trap-drumming and finished with clever travesty on the Hula Hula dance. Went over good in No. 2 spot. Jack Alfred & Co.; 12 minutes, f.s.. These boys are original in their manner of putting over an acrobatic act, and with their originality do a very clever routine of tricks making the act exceptional in its line. Went good. Alexander, O'Neil & Sexton; 14 minutes in 1. Mr. Alexander of this team was formerly with Alexander & Scott. He is a female impersonator, doing about the same routine he did with the old act. The other two boys are clever dancers and have quite a little comedy. The act makes a very good combination and went over very well. Chas. Grapewin & Anna Chance; 20 minutes, f.s.. This is the same sketch Mr. Grapewin has played here on previous visits. It seemed to go bigger than ever this time. Closed to good applause. Cecil Cunningham; 18 minutes in 1. This clever girl had some new songs for us this time and was just as big a hit as on previous occasions. Lucille Cavanagh; 22 minutes, f.s.. This act is beautifully staged and with Miss Cavanagh and her clever Assistants contributed one of the best dancing acts of the season. Closed to a big hand. Montgomery & Perry; 25 minutes, in 1. This team of boys are always sure fire hit in this house and went over very big as usual. Retreat of the Germans; Although the German Retreat pictures went on rather late and held our audience 15 or 20 minutes beyond their regular time, they seemed to please very much as only a small percentage left before they were over. Cuts; Montgomery & Perry-- Please eliminate the word "Bushwa" from your act. REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. Oct. 8, 1917. THE DANCERS ROGERS & WOOD Two women in one 10 Min Dancing offering with custumme changes. Went Well. Gibbs and Cowell Man and woman in full stage 14 Min. Comedy sketch "Somewhere in New York" A Poor sketch poorly acted. Very few laughs. Went Poor. The Man off the Ice Wagon Works in one 12 Min. Makes up as Ice man. Singing offering. Fine singer. Popular and classical. Went Good. Seven Honey Boys All work in blackface in full stage 25 Min. Songs comedy and dances. All Good. Went Big.
