Philadelphia B.F.Keith's Dec. 31. 7 PATHE. 13 min. Good average of pictures. FOUR KASTING KAYS. 9 min. Changed from closing to opening position owing to the failure of an act to arrive on time, this act gave the show a good start. There are three men and a woman, the latter acting as one of the bearers, and one of the men works in comedy make-up. Do the usual casting routine and did very well in this spot. SKELLEY & SAUVAIN. 15 min. Young couple recently with a musical show. Their offering consists of songs, chatter and some dancing. The man is a clever eccentric dancer and does well with a comedy song number. Girl wears three costumes and makes a good appearance. Very well liked. McDEVITT, KELLY & LUCEY. 20 min. "The Piano Movers and The Actress." Their old act with very few changes. Have not been here for a long time and did very well. The eccentric stepping of the two men and their comedy got plenty of laughs. Finished very well with a burlesque soldier bit in "one." ALFRED BERGEN. 10 min. This well known American baritone scored a good sized applause hit with his repertoire of ballads and a patriotic number for the finish. He was in excellent voice and sang with much expression. Finished very strong. CAMERON SISTERS. 12 min. This was their second week. They changed their program of dances and wore some new and striking costumes. Were very well received in each of their numbers as was Mr. Daniels at the piano. HARRY TIGHE. 19 min. Substituted for Hallen & Fuller who cancelled Saturday owing to illness. Tighe went on without any billing and made good with his songs, chatter and breezy style of working. He was assisted by a girl at the piano. Got his stuff for good results and won a big hand. MME. DOREE'S CELEBRITIES. 25 min. This is the second showing of this production here and it was just as big a hit as before. Mme. Doree has assembled a group of excellent vocalists and in picturesque costumes presents a series of impressions of operatic stars in famous roles. All the selections are well rendered and it is a high class singing act that will be appreciated by any audience. It was a big hit here. DUFFY & IN GLIS. 14 min. These boys were a big laughing hit with their nut comedy and burlesque musical bits. Their foolishness just suited the holiday audience and kept the house in a roar of laughter from start to finish. Closed to a big hand. CAMILLA'S BIRDS. 10 min. Originally scheduled to open the show this act failed to arrive in time and went on in the closing position, a hard spot for this act. It held lots of interest, however and considering the handicap scored solidly. Birds go through a showy routine and the act is attractively staged. GENERAL REMARKS. With the house crowded to its capacity, this show went over in great shape from start to finish. Plenty of music and comedy makes it a fine holiday week bill. Cuts SKELLEY & SAUVAIN. Expression, "She is reading, "Three Weeks" HARRY TIGHE. Expression "My God" used in a recitation.
