Boston, Mass., B. F. Keith's Dec. 31, 1917. Pictures- Hearst Pathe- O.K. Eddy Duo:- Man and woman - 5 min., f.s.. This act is timed for 7 minutes but did 5 minutes on their Tuesday afternoon opening. They have a very good routine of tricks on a tight wire. Went well. Caits Bros;- 10 Min. in 1. Two very neat dancers and a little comedy talk. Their dancing got over in good style. Went well. Carlisle & Romer;- 13 min. f.s., spl. set. An ordinary singing, piano and violin offering staged in a most unique manner. This act was very entertaining and went good. Rockwell & Wood:- Talking act of "Nut" variety with lots of pep and closed to a very big hand. Their material requires careful attention or they are very liable to offend. Went good. Bob Mathews;- 24 min. in 1., spl. drop. This is a novel singing and talking skit and seemed to go as well, if not better than any of Mr. Mathews' previous efforts. Closed strong. Sam Mann & Co;- 41 min. f.s.. This philosophical farce presented by Mr. Mann is, without a doubt, one of the best acts of its kind that has p played here. He has a very capable company and held attention throughout. Went big. Watson Sisters;- 27 min. in 1. These girls start in rather quietly but before closing registered one of the big hits of the show. Forest Fire;- 31 min. f.s., spl. sets. Although there are a few changes in the cast of this act, it evidently did not interfere with its success. The show run late but the audience remained almost intact to the finish. Remarks;- Eddy Duo did not open until Tuesday afternoon performance on account of delay in baggage transportation. Cuts;- Sam Mann;- Please eliminate the word sucker from your act. Rockwell & Wood:- Please eliminate all reference to any individual in the audience, also word Rabbi; corset steel, last car is gone and which part do you want in reference to B.V.D..
