There are about 20 individual, more or less, whose names appear on the list for one of the following reasons: 1/ The Treas. holds your IOU for your dues; 2/ Some officer (the one you sent your application to) holds your IOU or 3c has informed the Sec'y that you wlll pay. To the Officers you have forwarded may applications for membership, yet have failed to forward the money to the Treas. In fairness to the applicant, your Treas. has credited the applicant with a dues paid mark. You , as an Officer, are responsible for the dues not forwarded, If you feel you have a claim on the Treasury has credited the applicant with a dues paid mark. You, as an Officer, are responsible for the dues not forwarded. If you feel you have a claim on the Treasury for the amount you are withholding Notices are going out to those members who are being dropped for non-payment of dues. Notices will go out to those who do not pay up their IOUs before August 10th. According to our Constitution (the old one) any member whose dues were not paid before May 1st was to be automatically dropped. This was a 4 months period of grace. So please pay your obligations to your organization promptly. Your secretary would like to have a bit of information from each Fan Publisher and Fan Dealer. Frequently he is asked to recommend fanmags or fan dealers. He has his own particular favorites, of course, but he would like to recommend every fan magazine published by an NFFF member. Would each publisher please send in his name and address, name of his publication(s), a few words about the contents, frequency of publication and price? Would each fan who has some items to dispose of send in his name, address, mention in a few words the sort of thing he has to dispose of. Your Sec'y will then prepare lists for mailing to those who question about such things. Possibly the lists will be generally circulated in the NATIONAL FANTASY FAN in some future issue. Respectfully submitted [[signed] Walter Dunkelberger[[/signed]] Walter Dunkelberger 1443 4th Avenue So. Fargo, North Dakota July 10, 1945.
